In Soo Restaurant

Live out of state but have to go to dinner at the best restaurant in St.L (when visiting relatives) every time I'm in town. Food is always fabulous and made to order. There is only one chef there. So you may have to wait a bit longer but you'll always know that it will be great just like last time...And nothing is premade (ie. god knows how long food might have been sitting around in other restaurants). The food is ompletely fresh! They don't accept plastic but hey you don't have to worry about your credit card balance getting any higher or overdrawing your bank account :) Just went to dinner the last time I was in town. It took a little longer to get to the restaurant this time...there's ALOT of construction in St. Louis but like I said ....totally worth dining there. P.S. to Nicolepost...this cannot be the first place to have made a mistake and are you yourself flawless? If so, great for you but I highly doubt it. We used to love this place for their delicious moo shu. We are vegetarians and have misplaced our trust in this restaurant. They made a HUGE mistake and put chicken in our vegetable moo shu. My husband has been vegetarian for 20 years and he was ill. I was horrified to find such a mistake and I will NEVER trust this restaurant or support their carelessness with my business. In Soo restaurant is too good to be true. From the outside you would never have known that this great place exists, it's kinda hard to find but once you find it you will always know where to go for great food. I have been an In soo fan for many years and their owner In Soo has special way with people, she like that mother that everyone can use. The food servings are very large and best of all the quality truly does show. All the vegatables and meats are cut in small sizes, which shows you the chef takes alot of time on each dish. Some nights their are very busy but other nights there are very slow. So be prepared to wait from 5 minutes to an hour. But its worth the wait!!! At first sight- I knew not to expect much. Yes, they do not have enough servers. The owner though was friendly. She may seem a bit crass, but I immediately took liking to her because that was her way of getting to know you. We did wait about 30 minutes for our food, but the food was great!! My husband and I discovered In Soo after they were featured on Show Me St. Louis. What a find!!! We have eaten Chinese food in several cities, including Chinatown in NY, and this is the best we've ever had. Her hot and sour soup is absolutely superb. In fact, my husband normally starts with a double serving. Other favorites are their moo shu (best moo sho crepes I ever had), her crispy eggplant, cashew chicken etc. I could go on and on...nothing on the menu is less than perfect. I heart In Soo! They are hands down the best chinese place in st louis. The potstickers are very good, especially the special spicy dipping sauce! I am addicted to the seasame chicken, it is the best i have ever had. Everyone needs to try In Soo! more
