Got my first custom suit. I will admit, I came here not knowing too much about how the process works. But these guys made it easy and fun. I went in thinking the worst, but came out a happy customer. They took the time to suggest me what would be great with my body and pick a fabric that will not only be versatile for parties, but also for client meetings. I highly recommend these guys. Not recommended 7/10/2010

I brought in an expensive dress for a simple hem. The seamstress talked me into letting her take apart the dress and pull it up from the waist which cost $50. When I got it back, the hem at the waist was crooked and the pockets sticking out, as if she'd never used a sewing machine before. She spoke very little english and was unable to even understand what I was asking for. I do NOT recommend taking anything to this place. I have been coming to Imparali for a few years now. And they have never been short of excellent in their customer service and their workmen ship. I send all my alterations and make my shirts from there. And I have always been happy.? Pros: Alterations more

Alterations 2/19/2009

I am a pretty average build, so it?s not necessary for me to get too many things altered, but of course when you purchase an off-the-peg suit, You have to get the pants altered, and I prefer to have the sides a little tapered to fit my body better. I came to Imparali to get a suit altered, and they did a great job. more

Best Midtown Tailors 12/16/2008

I am very meticulous about how my clothes fit, and it doesn't help that one of my arms is longer then the other (about a 1/2 difference). The tailors recognized this when I first came in, saying the reason was of my shoulder drop, one is sloping and the other is normal. This is the first time, I came to a tailor shop, and didn't have to point out this. I was seriously impressed with their knowledge along with the out come of the alterations. Alterations 11/19/2008

These guy's really do a great job altering clothes. I took a brand new Canali suit for alterations. When I was being fitted, I didn't even have to tell them what I wanted done on the suit, they already knew what needed to be altered. The shoulders on the jacket were a little too big for me, and the pants needed to be tapered in the legs and hemmed at the bottom. I have had bad luck with tailors in the past promising me when a suit would be completed and never coming through. I can see why these guys get their great reviews. They told me it would be ready a certain day, and would call to confirm it being ready, and it was. It's really their service that separates Imparali from just any old tailor who will alter your clothes. I am glad I found these guys Pros: meets deadlines and customer service more

Fast turnaround 11/11/2008

These guys do great and fast work with alterations. I had a couple pairs of pants taken in and a topcoat worked on. Prices are fair, and direct, customer service is very good too. more

Great Staff and collection 8/18/2008

I brought my father here for his birthday to get some tailored shirts. My dad is not the type to ever love shopping, but I think imparali changed his mind. He felt extremly comfortable with the staff. They knew exactly what would look good on him and what would work. We were able to find not only shirts but they have a great selections of ties. I recommend this place for men and women. more

Fast Service 12/7/2007

I went to Imparali to get my get my suit fixed. I needed my suit that night, because I had to go to a dinner party that evening. The suit needed a lot of Alterations, the jacket needed to be taken in, the sleeves needed to be shortened, and the pants needed to be hemmed. I was worried that it wouldn?t be ready in time, well they went ahead and fixed everything in time for my event and I couldn?t have been happier. They didn?t even charge me extra because it was a rush job. And the quality of their workmanship is impeccable. That is very unusual here in the city, because EVERYWHERE you go in the city, if you want a faster service you have to pay extra. I will be taking my clothes to them from now on. Thank you Imparali.
