Take Your Breath Away Hotel 4/13/2006

Be sure to catch your breath! This hotel is magnificent. Easily the best we’ve ever stayed at. Wonderful views from the balcony, hospitable staff and a beach to die for. Their grounds are magnificently groomed and you will find exotic animals roaming free here. The pools are awesome too. We didn’t prepare for the salt water of the ocean so the incredible pools were a welcome relief. And did I mention the heaven that is their bed? Glorious sleep! The mattress is heavenly! more

Hyatt in Maui 3/26/2006

We wanted to stay at a fantastic hotel when we went on our honeymoon and I am positive we priced the best. There Hyatt Regency in Maui was amazingly gorgeous!!! There were exotic animals like penguins and all kinds of other birds to look at. The Room was fantastic and I cannot even tell you how soft and wonderful the bed was. We went to the luau that the hotel has and it was so good. And we thought it was worth it to pay the extra money for the VIP seating. The food at the luau was fantastic! The grounds are so beautiful and the pools are clean and refreshing. There is a great beach and we spent the early evenings laying out in a hammock and watching the whales. There are plenty of chairs for everyone also. We got a good price. The room service was ok- though the restaurants at the hotel were better. And this is located in a great place; close to stores and you can walk to some other hotel restaurants. The people were so friendly. This trip definitely made the shift in our minds that we will only stay at Hyatt's when we go on vacations. We loved it and cannot rave about our experience enough. more

Great Hotel 8/20/2005

This Hyatt, one of the earlier hotels built in Hawaii by Chris Hemmeter, is situated on the shores of Kaanapali. It offers a beautiful property with large pool and “built in” bar. I have always wanted to be able to meander over to a bar, and order a drink without having to leave the pool, and the Maui Hyatt allowed me to do this. Walk up to the bar in waist deep water, and enjoy a cold refreshing drink. Kids will enjoy this pool, but see my review of the Grand Wailea if you have kids. more
