Hurricane Hobbies

I have spent a lot of money in Hurricane Hobbies and I will NEVER spend another penny there!!!. I don't know the owners name but I do know he is very fat and very unprofessional with his customers. When I purchased my RC there, it was a gas powered car and i was needing assistance in setting up, being my first Gas car i was very confused to say the least. He was very unsupported of me and my many questions and trips to the store to help me set it up. He even had told me that I was being ANOYYING!!!, Imagine a store owner telling his customer he was annoying. I spent close to $1,500 and to make matters worse, the Gas motor that was ordered for me was sold to me without a model # or serial # on the receipt and was packaged in an unmarked box, so I couldn't make a price comparison let alone know that what i was paying for is what i received. He scammed me and was very rude.HE WILL NEVER SE ME AGAIN more

THEY WILL LOOSE ANYTHING YOU GIVE THEM! THEY WILL TREAT YOU AS THOUGH YOU ARE THE ONE THAT DID SOMETHING WRONG. THEY WILL NOT PAINT ANYTHING EVEN GOOD, FORGET PERFECT! On my way home my kids wanted to go in the store, so we did. It was a very nice store with odds and ends everywhere you looked. I had a conversation with an older women who was very friendly. My children were instantly hooked on their slot car tracks and we were able to rent them for 15mins and a reasonable price. They had so much fun crashing the cars and watching then fly by. They can't wait to go back, it's a shame we don't live closer because i'd love to bring them back. This is a great little family store that i highly recommend! Pros: Kid friendly, comfortable store with nice employees Cons: jus wish we lived closer, it was a nice way to end the day more

Their new store is great and i'm loving their Hardbodies race for the slotcars. They have a real good crowd going on and the new store is very spacious. It's a pleasure being at the store and they have a family environment. Has anyone else seen that adroable puppy they have? so cute! hahaa Pros: Two slot car tracks, HUGE store. They said NO!! went to another shop, who were 10 times more helpful, they explained it had reverse, so I bought a car from that hobby shop. Used the car at the mall, broke an lower control arm. Figured I was in the area I would get a new part its on the way home. these guys were very helpful with building my model railroad,If they did'nt have it in stock Hurricane would order the product for me in a timely fashion.They even have a train guy there who is willing to make house calls to solve any problems I encountered.They have an old style hobby store, that you just cant find these days.Hurricane you guys have my business for life!The staff was freindly and helpfull.
