Due to internet monopoly, you must buy their internet service which is provided at a very high price for very poor internet service. more

Look Somewhere Else 6/23/2015

Pros: -The apartments are very new, so all of the appliances are in good condition. -All units have a full washer and dryer. -The location is near the mall and many other stores. -The closet in my bedroom was massive and had tons of shelving. -I received my full security deposit back when I moved out after living there for 1 year and 4 months. Cons: -The walls are very poorly insulated. I was even able to hear my neighbors' turn on and off light switches, among many, many other noises. -They would not respond to noise complaints when my neighbors' blasted loud music. -The internet they provide is insanely slow and overpriced: 3 Mbps for $40/month. -There is no lock on the main entrance to each apartment hallway. -If I opened my sliding door, the scent of marijuana smoke would enter my apartment. -The location is far from campus. -There are geese and their droppings everywhere because of the ponds. It makes taking the trash out an obstacle course. -The management was constantly changing while I was there and decreasing in quality after every change. I even had to ask them multiple times to fax a residency verification form for my new apartment because they 'forgot' each time. -A high school is being built directly across the street, so the location will have increased traffic soon. more

cheap put together homes and management is crap 8/6/2014

I have been at hunters pond for almost a year now.. the apartment windows leak water and let alot of cold air in during the winter i wouldnt be surprised if mold is in the walls.. during summer the spiders are bad that u cant even set on ur balcony at night time and the pond is full of scum and stinks... The new management is crappy they are rude and could careless about anything out here since the new manager took over its went to hell out here fast... I use to feel safe here but they let anyone move out here anymore theres nothing like smelling pot coming from ur neighbors and u complain and they say theres not much they can do and the truth is they dont give a damn... It takes forever for maintance to fix anything and then u gotta listen to them gripe about how the place is ran and how swamped they are... I would never recomend anyone out here to this dump they add extra charges or screw ur account up and then wanna act like its no big deal... more

biggest mistake ever 7/25/2014

I've held a lease with hunters pond for only 4 months, and already want out. Horrible management, they find ways of charging you different fees every time your rent is due. The apartments aren't worth how much they are charging. If something breaks management won't fix it. When my apartment was broken into, management told me that it wasn't there problem. That maybe I left a door unlocked or a window open. The window in the door leading to the patio was shattered. I would never recommend anyone here, I wouldn't have given a star if I didn't have to put least one. more

Dangerous 9/13/2013

We have experienced a great deal of crime while living here, and like the other reviewers have mentioned, the staff has been dismissive and rude about everything. We have had a bike stolen, car broken into, and last night SOMEONE TRIED TO BREAK INTO THE APARTMENT WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING. The management refuses to report the issues, alert the residents of the danger, or take any action/responsibility whatsoever. We are desperately trying to break the lease early because we feel so unsafe at Hunters Pond, but again, the management has been awful. I would be very careful about signing a lease here. more

fed-up tenant 9/1/2013

After being in this complex a little over two months, I have to say not a lot of progress has been accomplished in this facility. Granted, there have been a few buildings added, it seems everything has been halted or completely ignored in the 'newer' yet 'older' part. The pond is absolutelty atroscious. The scum is so un-godly bad, that is all you seem to see on the top of the water and if I am correct, there should be some sort of water system circulating it so the scum does indeed not pile up like it is. The spiders around here are rather annoying to the point that walking outside is a nightmare all in its own. Not to mention while on the balcony you are constantly getting bit by them and not even wanting to enjoy this part of the apartment {then on the balcony dealing with the nasty so called pond}. Then, when you call, you are given the run around from the so called management team here! You speak to the actual manager of this place and get one answer and then can call the office the next day and check on the progress and get one of the office staff and its the complete opposite and they act like they have no idea what I am talking about, to the point where i feel like my complaint is written up and disposed of to save them from actually having to do something about it. While moving in, the first rain we had, the windows leaked to the point the carpet was soaked and I had to rent a rug doctor to suck the carpet because your so called staffs complete negligence of the situation forced me to. It has now been well over a month now and still am given the run around about when this issue will be fixed about my window!!!!! I understand that your company is trying to build on to this complex.HOWEVER, I find it disheartenning and very diminuative to neglect the apartment and people who pay a lot of damn money to live in the already built apartments. SO,for the price u pay to be here, its sure not worth it when u have non-stop problems and WILL NOT fix them. My suggestion would be to reevaluate the management there. more

Unprofessional management 9/7/2012

Every time I have dealt with Rhonda or Matthew regarding the apartments, they have been extremely rude, uncooperative, and unprofessional. Matthew has a little more sympathy and will apologize for inconveniences but Rhonda will not. Dealing with people's lives and homes is just a business to them, they don't care about anything but making a dollar. more
