Hunan Take Out Chinese

I've eaten here twice since in Houston. I could almost walk there from the apartment I am renting. The location does look a bit sketchy as some suggested but don't let that stop you. The food is really good and the price is unbeatable. You can get a meal with soup and appetizer for under $7. I'm used to paying $10 just for the meal. The food is well prepared and for a change this place understands how spicy food should taste. I personally hate ordering bland Chinese food that claims to be spicy. This place got it right. Don't expect a smile or any chit chat from the people behind the counter. They are all business. I'm okay with that though. I judge places like these on their food and not for their service. This restaurant has very good ""cheapie"" Chinese food, and delivers very promptly for free, provided you spend $10. You can get a lot of food for the mandatory $10, like the dinner special (~$7) which is a large entree, soup, rice, and crab puff/eggroll. To fill out the $10, I'll order some veggie lo mein, which is just superb, packed with veggies and flavorful sauce. Pros: price, flavor, very fast, delivers more

I live inside the five mile free delivery loop but was charged the delivery fee. I explained that I did not live over five miles away and no one would listen to me. They still refused to give me my money back after I showed them the google directions that show i live four miles away. Decent food, horrible service. We order from here every couple weeks and have never been dissapointed. The food is excellent and the value even better. Make sure to try the sesame chicken, plus they have excellent hot and sour soup and crab puffs. more

This place is not great on the inside, but it is really clean. The food is surved up quick and hot and the ingredients are fresh and high quality.
