Best Burger in the Northwest 12/12/2010

I have been eating burgers here since I was in grade school.\r \r Fresh meat with their own spice blend ground every morning. Love their hot sauce and always order with cheese, onion, and pickle.\r \r Don't be concerned about the pan of raw meat on the counter - it does not last long at the rate they pump out the burgers.\r \r This is an institution in Coeur d'Alene that has been family owned and around for decades. The owners are also highly involved in local sports and charitable giving.\r \r They deserve your business....and the food will not disappoint. more

Excellent Old-fashioned Burger 8/5/2010

We've been visiting this area for close to 30 years and we always go to Hudson's and are never disappointed. The menu is simple (burgers no fires) and the quality is tops as everything is fresh. The burger comes with cheese, fresh sliced pickle and onion and your choice of 3 sauces. We will be back. I have no clue where boyerbl ate (previous review), but it mush not have been Hudson's. more

Avoid this place if you don't want to get sick.... Look at photo #2 see the pan of raw burger meat on the counter and cheese and raw veggies right next to it. I worked in Cour d' Alene for a number of years and never saw them wash their hands or refrigerate the meat. Also look at picture one... High prices for a simple burger without fries. Don't even think of asking for a shake. Cons: Raw meat on the counter mixed with buns and fixins more

Slow, unfriendly service, mediocre hamburgs. 10/19/2007

The buns are not warm up, the buns come out of the sack the burger is placed on it and that's it. Been there twice, waste of money. Pros: This isn't any parking. Cons: There are some good restaurants in the area, this isn't one. more

BURGERS! 10/27/2006

possibly the best place on the planet for hamburgers. Ya just don't get them any fresher than here. From the grill to your plate in 3 seconds flat. No frills just great food. Only wish there was more seating but that would eliminate the ambience of sitting next to a new friend. There will always be a crowd for awesome food and this is so worth the wait. don't walk, RUN here. Pros: best hot burgers this side of the rockies more

Been around since the early 20th century and probably offers the same menu -- great hamburgers. It can be extremely busy during the Summer months with standing room only; but if you're hankerin' for a quality hamburger this is where to go. Pros: Food quality, Casual atmosphere Cons: Crowded more
