Mark C. was our salesman at Hub Hyundai. We would recommend him hands-down to anybody looking for a smooth, easy-going car buying experience. My husband and I were considering a new car but wanting a salesman that would be straight forward with us. Mark greeted us with a welcoming smile and spoke straight to us, never making us feel overwhelmed by the “salesman” tactics. This was very important to us. Mark made this experience much easier than I thought it could/ would be. Everybody at the dealership went out of their way to be friendly, and a good “down to earth friendly” and not the “kill you with kindness friendly.” Between Mark and everybody we have dealt with at Hub, I would recommend this dealership to anybody looking for an easy car-buying experience. Total Crooks!!! Don't waste your time! 7/7/2011

I went to Hub Hyundai of Katy on 7/4/11 seeking a 2011 Hyundai Sonata in red with black interior. Hub only had whites, grays, blacks and blues in stock and possibly a red with beige interior. They claimed that they checked the stock throughout the city of Houston, the state of Texas, every production center and throughout the United States and that the information that they found stated that red with black was not produced at all and that they had no anticipated production date (and thus it could be months or perhaps never be produced) but that they’d be more than happy to sell me a different color that they had. Interestingly, they have a touch screen system that showed red with black, so I was more than dubious that I wasn’t getting the full truth (especially when the lie about colors was coupled with the lie that if they sold a car at invoice price they’d be making zero money which is also not true). Upon leaving the dealership, I called another Hyundai dealership that had three of the red/black Sonata color combination, confirming that it was in fact a lie and that their intent was to mislead me in order to make a sale. This kind of behavior is detrimental to every customer they have and also hurts the Hyundai name and I think that the public should be aware of their misleading business practice and deliberate lies. When I contacted them to let them know that I was aware that it was a lie and to let them know I didn’t want their email/phone advertisements, they never acknowledged my email or apologized. more

Crooks from start to finish 6/9/2011

Last week of March I went to buy an Elantra Touring and had in hand their firm price. It took prolonged effort for me to get them to honor it, they balked totally at providing a drive-out price including tax, title & license. Instead they gave me a "ball park" estimate which was nearly $1000 over actual TTL fees, then required me to sign a sales acceptance document with half the lines blank. They required a credit report, even though I was paying cash, as well. After waiting 45 minutes for the details & explanations, I walked out. Went to North Freeway Hyundai and had a perfect transaction. I recommend anyone considering patronizing this dealership for any purpose to just drive on by. Avoid like the plague. more

CROOKS INDEED! 3/3/2011

Worst place ever!!!!!!!!!!!! Hyundai cars are the best, however these people are the worst. Literally had a full tank of gas when I took the car to the dealership to get something fixed that took 3 days. However after the 3 days, the gas was on low. Seriously? These people make Hyundai cars look bad, but Hyundai cars are the best. I suggest EVERYBODY to avoid this place at all costs. They rob you from the most unexpected things so beware. Good luck selling cars with this kind of service HAH more

BEWARE, they will run your credit repeatedly out of spit e if you don;t buy from them. The salesman was very nice but when it came down to negotiate, he was not able to give me an exact price without getting my credit information. Poor guy, I think the manager prevents them from discussing numbers. When I finally agreed to give my information so they could quote me, I had to ask what the sales price was and what rate it was at, they only wanted to talk in monthly cost. After asking to see the numbers politely multiple times, I told them to have a nice day and walked out. The next day 5 different banks called me to verify if there had been a credit inquiry (I subscribe to fraud protection alerts with my bank). Long story short, they tried to ruin my credit out of spite. I finally baught the same Hyundai at a different dealership. CROOKS, bad management. more

From start to finish, the deal was good, the people were good, the whole thing was quick and painless. I felt I got a good deal, things were explained honestly and directly, and I didn't feel pressure to buy - but did so any way because the experience was good. I bought GAP insurance and a warranty from finance because the finance lady was up front and to the point and I felt what she was offering was the real deal. The salesman pulled no punches - told me what I needed to know without being shady or cocky like most guys are when you're a woman shopping alone. It really was the best experience I've ever had. more

Buy Your Hyundai Here! 8/10/2005

When my 1992 Corsica died after 8 loyal years, it was time to buy a new car. After extensive research, I decided upon a Hyundai but I was still torn between a Sonota and an Elantra when I went to visit the dealership with my husband. We headed out on evening in early May of 2005 and decided to go to HUB Hyundai first since it was the closest to our home. Our salesman's name was Roy was great from the start. When he found out I had been working all day, he asked if he could get me anything to eat or drink and at one point, even offered to bring a recliner chair from the waiting area into his office so I could be more comfortable. We spent almost an hour discussing and test driving the cars before deciding on the Elantra. When we finally finished discussing everything with the salesman, we were able to get the car for less than the listed price AND get a 1500 rebate in addition to no money down. Since the car was not filled up when we took it off the lot, he also gave us a 50 dollar Chevron gas card along with a Hyundai cooler filled with Cokes and told us to enjoy ourselves. I will definitely be going back to Hub Hyundai for my next car! more
