The equipment used are not cleaned. I bring a nail clipper which is a good quality nail clipper (bought from a nail supply store suggest by a pedicurist from a different salon) that other nail salons had no issue using and complimented me on. Most nail shops were closed since it is Sunday and I went to the Houston Nail and facial location for the first time. I saw that they didn't clean their equipment and gave them my nail clipper to use. The lady started using hers and then asked to use hers instead and I advised her ""no"". She told her manager and the manager said ""get the f*ck out of here"". I told her that she needs to clean the equipment. I thought the manager was unprofessional and there was no reason for her to use profanity especially since I didn't use any to her. I have family who have gotten fungus and infections from the use of dirty tools. I also am aware that infectious diseases such as HIV can be contracted from the use of those tools because sometimes they nick people and the blo0d is left on the clippers. If you don't want to risk catching any infections don't go to this location.
