Every time my family and I go there, we have the best Middle Eastern food in town. their Hummus is one of a kind, light and smooth texture, served along with warm Pita bread. Chicken Shawarma is perfectly marinated, grilled and served with out-of-this-world ( my favorite) Garlic paste! End this experience with some sweet Baklava and warm cardamon tea. This place never fails to deliver a great cozy dining experience for all of us. Pros: null Cons: null more

They will tow your car if you are using 2/23/2012

They will tow your car if you are using other business's in the same parking lot. There is some parking lot dispute going on between the owner of this restaurant and and one or two others who have their business in the same parking lot. My car was towed to some shady site and I had to pay 300 dollars in cash, when my car was wrongly towed. I suggest not going here. Pros: null Cons: null more

If you want to get your CAR TOWED - Beware! 12/28/2011

My husband and I used to eat at this restaurant often a few years ago. Even though the service was slow, the food was good. Now that it's under new ownership, the humus is no longer the "best" around (they've CHEAPENED THE RECIPE), the service is bad, AND they seem to enjoy TOWING PEOPLE'S CARS AWAY!!! My son was in the Hookah Lounge on a TUESDAY NIGHT and the owners of the House of Kabob TOWED HIS CAR AWAY! The restaurant wasn't even busy and the lot WASN'T EVEN FULL!!!!!!! The towing charge was $314!!! My son has a minimum wage job and can't afford this exorbitant towing charge! BEWARE! Sounds like a FRAUDULENT DEAL between the Towing Company and House of Kabob?! Worst place ever! 12/16/2011

I ate one time at this place about a year ago and never went back because the service was horrible! Today the service again proved to be the worst ever as the "owner" of this establishment had my car towed while I went to pick up food that I had ordered from the restaurant next door! I wonder how much of the $314 I had to spend to get my car back went to the "owner" of this rat infested hole? The number of positive reviews of this place has to be false! best lamb in town! 4/22/2010

Best lamb in denver hands down! The seasonings and marinade used at the HoK is outstanding! Someone trying lamb for the first time must try a dish here. Hummus and lentel soup is to die for and the after dinner cup of coffee keeps you jumping for three days! Look out starbucks! A must try! Pros: quantity of food Cons: not enough locations around town more

Excellent Food and Great Atmophere!! 1/6/2010

I stopped in recently for dinner with some friends, we ordered the Hummus and Falafel for starters, I must both were the best I've had in a long time. For the Main Course we ordered the Lamb Shank, the Chicken Kabob and the Gyros plates. The meet was cooked to perfection on all 3 enrtree's the rice was a great complement to the meal. The Quantity of the food was excellent, we all had left to take home and have lunch the next day. For desert we had the Bakalava another great choice. I would definitely recommend House of Kabob to all my friends and relatives. Pros: Great Location. more

A co-worker suggested House of Kabob for lunch and I tagged along. Best decision I've made this month! We started with the hummus, which has a rich flavor and velvety texture like no other. Amazing! The lamb kabob pita sandwich was delicious as well. Pros: Great variety, authentic more

Although I was grown with middle eastern food, I had the worst Middle Eastern food in House of Kebab. 3/8/2009

I ordered combo plate and it came with 2 piece of chicken and 2 piece of beef 2 falafel and the rest was hummus. I don't look for quality but I look for freshness at least. Chicken piece had a bone in it, The food was not fresh, it gave me the taste of a casa bonita. And I was right, when I saw the guy in the kitchen was speaking spanish. GET A real middle eastern chef will you? Pros: good falafel Cons: not fresh more

A MUST TRY 12/16/2008

My Fiance' and I happened into this wonderful family resturant one Friday night to try something different. It was fabulous! We've been back twice and have never been disappointed. The wait staff made excellent suggestions the first time we went. I haven't liked the taste of lamb in the past, but these lamb chops were superb! They melted in my mouth like butter! The basmati rice is delicious, and the fattouch salad has a fabulous dressing that's not too overpowering. On our most recent visit, I tried the chicken kabob.... I have to say, it was the best chicken I've ever had. I highly recommend this place for atmosphere, service, and delightful meals. IT IS A MUST TRY!!!! Pros: The food is excellent, i like the Lamb Shank Cons: Parking is a little tight at times more

Delicious! 11/28/2008

We found this little gem today on citysearch and do not regret it. The food was great and the atmosphere was cozy. It was quiet enough to have a decent conversation and had nice Arabic music playing in the background. We ordered the Lebanese Lamb Shish Kabobs, Persian Salad and Hummus. The meat had such a nice grilled flavor and the hummus was wonderful. The waitress was very helpful and genuine. It is located near I-25 and is in the same parking lot as a Hookah store and another restaurant called Damascus. We'll definitely go back. Pros: Great food, cozy but not lavish, nice staff Cons: None. more

This restaurant is definitely the best Middle Eastern food I've had in Denver. I went here recently with some friends, halfway through the meal, we ended up ordering additional meals because the food was so delicious! My friends commented they had not had such amazing Middle Eastern food before now. The ambience is great (nice, yet comfortable) and the service was outstanding. Everything is well-priced. \r \r The next time you are looking for a great experience stop by and visit them and be sure to order the Hummus appetizer...it's a must!!! Pros: Great Food Quality, excellent prices more
