Good Restaurant 4/10/2006

I like to eat at Houck's Grill on Papermill Road. I think they are a pretty decent restaurant, it has a good selection of food and yet is not as cheesy as a lot of chain restaurants like Applebee's or Chilis. It is a good place to take your family because it has a really nice atmosphere but it is not a really stuffy restaurant and it is really not that expensive to eat here. more

Fun environment 10/5/2005

Houck's Grill on Papermill road is pretty much a normal family restaurant, but it just seems a lot more fun. The environment is not the quietest, so if you're a boring person or more likely just want a not too loud meal, don't go here. Otherwise Houck's is great. They have local live bands once in a while, but I haven't gone in a while so I don't know anymore. They have your normal burger and fries along with chicken fingers and all that normal good stuff. Give it a try. more

A good seafood/steak restaurant 9/20/2005

I love their fresh tasting fish and my husband loves their steak. I think you can find the same type of food for less though but Houck's sometimes offers coupons/early bird specials. I think our bill is usually $45 or more for 2 adults and 1 child with no alcohol. It can also get very crowded. Friendly, helpful service complement the restaurant and make it popular. Kid friendly too. more

Great atmosphere and good food 8/25/2005

Houck's Grill is a a real good family and friends restaurant. It was actually my friend's dad's restaurant, but they sold it. I'm sure the food is still just as good though. It's a fun atmosphere for some reason, I don't know why, and they have live bands once in a while. Their food is pub type and American style. You really can't go wrong with thier good old American food menu. more

Great Local Restaurant 8/18/2005

Houcks Steakhouse had remained in east cobb for a good reason, quality and affordable food. Just if you would like a quiet dinner make sure a band isn't playing that night. Most dinners are priced between 12-18 dollars. Houcks is also family friendly, involved in the local community, and don't miss their great outdoor dinning. more
