Hosanna Animal Clinic

I'd like to take a moment to share my experience with this veterinarian. He is right by my home and he was really nice to me when I dropped off a ""Lost Cat"" flyer last month.\r \r Went in on July 14th and he was so excited that I found my cat, Frankie. He conducted an exam on Frank as well as bathed him and drew blood to run the basic tests..just to make sure he's ok.\r \r His prices were completely reasonable. He also gave Frankie a free antibiotic shot, since he knew his situation (being outside for an extended period of time, when's he's an indoor cat). His bedside manner with Frankie was wonderful. He was so sweet to him and handled him with care.\r \r I would not hesitate to recommend this vet to anyone in the area. He is an all around nice person and truly cares about his patients. more

Dr. Jung has treated my cats and dogs in a very professional manner and he is very affordable. I had the misfortune to have to have my female boxer Daisy put to sleep due to her old age, and he was very compasionate and explained everything in detail preparing me for what it was going to be like. I highly recommend his practice! more

The only logical conclusion I can draw after reading the previous two positive reviews is that ownership has changed or they were written by the staff of this establishment. I based my decision to visit this clinic on the afore mentioned reviews, and I was left utterly disappointed. Upon walking in, you are forced to remind yourself of the old saying, ""Don't judge a book by its cover."" From the outside, the windows are tinted with a mirror film, and for good reason- the interior is embarrassing. However, with the previous reviews in mind, I remained optimistic. I was acknowledged, more so than greeted, by an older man of oriental descent- the owner and doctor of this clinic. From this point, the encounter was nothing short of shocking. My girlfriend and I have a combined 10+ years of experience in the food industry, and I now manage a business as well as run own my own business on the side. This easily ranked as one of the rudest individuals we have ever encountered... for anyone in the food or retail industry, you know the kind of magnitude this statement possesses... In short, the owner was rude, belligerent, and seemingly uninformed. I would NEVER take any of my pets to this establishment and I would strongly urge anyone considering this clinic to do yourself and your pets a favor- drive two more blocks to the animal hospital on Warner and Gothard. more
