Best

We've patronized this HOPS and I would say it's 'okay.' Our waiter spoke SO QUIETLY we could not HEAR A WORD. Good selections, mostly of an average menu, but hearty servings. No...

Worst

All reviews seem positive

Eh, it's OK. Food is consistent, large portions however the service is usually lacking 2/27/2007

I eat at Hops frequently, the food is always good and consistent. The staff is also consistent, consistently BAD. They seem to get the left over, second rate (or maybe 3rd rate) servers who couldn't get a job anywhere else. This last visit, the server was completely disheveled, make up smudged, hair all over the place, wrinkled shirt 5 sizes too big for her. Not to be mean, but she had to have been on SOMETHING, she was erratic, all over the place, twitchy, would ask us questions and run off before we could answer. It was really weird. PLUS she overcharged us and then when we pointed out she started arguing about it. She was very obviously wrong but it wasn't worth arguing with her (it was only $1), clearly she wasn't thinking coherently. Hops is where I go when there is too long of a wait anywhere else (they never have a line/wait), as I mentioned already, the food is tasty and a good value...they just need to tell there servers to put the pipe down. Pros: Food, Prices, Never busy Cons: Horrible/inexperienced servers, no one to greet at the host stand (waited 10 minutes for someone to show), parking more

Warm, family oriented 2/16/2006

We've patronized this HOPS and I would say it's 'okay.' Our waiter spoke SO QUIETLY we could not HEAR A WORD. Good selections, mostly of an average menu, but hearty servings. Not a Saturday night place for a date, but for a family. A LITTLE expensive considering everything: location, menu, service. I had to remind the server about forgotten items three times. I would say it's 'okay,' but considering I live near DIA, I would prefer going somewhere closer and that I KNOW will always be a great experience, like Texas Roadhouse. Pros: Large Portions Cons: Forgetful staff more

A ""Better Burger"" 5/25/2004

One of the Best Burgers in Denver, and certainly in ""Cherry Creek""... Makes the ""thing"" they call a hamburger at the Cherry Cricket taste like dog food... for basic American Cuisine a much better choice than most of the other ""overpriced"" bill-o-fare choices in good ole yuppieville ... Pros: Food, Beer more
