I bought a new Honda mower at Home Depot in 2011. It has a 4 year warranty. Great. In fairness, we have a lot of rocks and weeds on our property. I brought the mower in after I hit rocks and couldn't get it started. A month later - I got it back. $75.00. It worked and I was glad to get it back working.
This year - March, it wouldn't start. Brought it to them. (had forgotten about last year), and I called 3 days later, as they hadn't called me. It won't be ready until next week - called and called and finally was told they have large contracts and those mowers get fixed first. Wha???
A month later and I am about to pick up my mower. I was told the charge is $74.50. Lesson learned.
