I took my car into this shop (which came highly reccomended) to get some regular maintenance done: a timing belt & water pump & three S-belts. I take care of my vehicle by keeping up on scheduled maitenance and tried a new shop out (instead of taking it to the dealership) to save a hundred bucks. Big mistake. $500 dollars later, I got the car back - and there was a rough idle to it that wasn't there before. I took it back in the next morning and the mechanic who originally worked on it felt the rough idle and said he'd take a look at it. The mechanic offered to adjust the valves which were slightly off to see it that would help the problem - at no charge since ""they wanted me to be happy with it"". The rough idle was still there though - and when I called the shop the next morning to speak to the owner and see what they could do, he informed me (and dropped all pretense at former politeness) that he was ""out"" and they would no longer work on my car to correct the rough idle. He said that had he been there when his mechanic adjusted the valves for me - then he would have charged me. He said that the work the mechanic did is correct and that all his shop will stand behind is the work they did - not for the way it operates now. I tried several times to mention that the car didn't run this way (this poorly) when I brought it to him, but he dismissed that and said they were not responsible for the way it opperates now...only the work the did to it and that the work they did has no bearing on my rough idle. ( ! ) Before we hung up, I told him how stunned I was to be treated like this and he said ""I bet you are"". To add insult to injury, he rudely told me to ""have a wonderful day"" right before we hung up. I was (and am) stunned, upset and angry. I've never been treated this way before as a customer and I certainly will not be back to them - nor will I recommend this shop ever.\r
Cons: extremely poor customer service, rude owner, won't stand behind work
