First, IT IS NOT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I replace 10 to 15 roofs a week this way. You have to know someone that knows ""policy"" and knows how to recognize ""LOSS"" in order to do it ...or just read your own policy (Most homeowners never do). If an incident is unforeseen, it is forgivable they cannot increase your rates. If they do, its incrementally done throughout the entire zip code. Your insurance Agent is just as full of BS as the next guy. The only reason you listen to them is because you send them money every month. Because you send them money every month, you trust them, right? The reason they want to deter you from placing ANY claim is because it affects his/her bonus - you are taking money out of the salesman's pocket. they use scare tactics to keep you from doing it. I have collected a list on them. Home Front Roofing's owner Ron is probably one of the biggest criminals you will ever meet. I have seen some real screwed up people in my days and I will tell you he has some real psychological problems. For starters, no one can stand to work with him, he smokes dope everyday, he is in debt up to his eyeballs and in a confrontation with someone all the time. You don't have to worry anymore because they are out of business. that is a good thing. For people looking for a contractor, the important things to consider is references - get them, do they have their debt under control (get lien wavers) and do they communicate with you and keep information flowing. I openly offer all of this and its the way to do business. Those are REAL things you look for in a contractor. If you really want to be safe get them to purchase a ""surety bond"". If an insurance company will not give them one - then stay clear. Cons: Criminals more

Stay Away!!!! 2/4/2009

If something is too good to be true...It probably is. We had one of their sales guys swing by our house to see if they could get us to make a claim on a hail storm that happened over 7 months ago!! Don't do it. Our insurance agent told us that not only can your premium go up, but that you could be investigated or sued for false insurance claims. Even worse is this company's reputation. Contact the Denver BetterBusinessBureau and you'll see they had their accreditation revoked and numerous complaints that they refused to address. \r \r When presented with this information their ""claims analyst"" nice name for aggressive sales rep. said the company intentionally un-accredited themselves (lie #1) and that the BetterBusinessBureau is a for-profit organization (lie #2) and that they used to have 2 offices which created the problems that people had before that are now fixed....like not building roofs to code?!?! (lie #3). And that ""glowing"" review above is unusually suspect as a company owner, huh? Buyer beware, but I'd stay away and look for a reputable roofer to make sure you don't get burned. Good luck out there! Cons: umm..... more

Hmmmm......very interesting. 3/28/2008

One of their rep's came to my door on 3/27/08. They said they noticed some of my shingles were curling and that normally the insurance company would not pay to replace the roof as this is considered normal wear. But since their boss was a former insurance adjuster, they thought they could convince my insurance company that there was hail damage and get the insurance to pay for the roof to be replaced. The rep explained that if they couldn't get the insurance to pay, I was under no obligation to them and we would ""part friends"". They asked if they could get up on the roof to look for hail damage. I declined, as I don't recall there being a hail storm yet this year. \r \r I decided to look for reviews on this company, and look what I found!\r \r People, all I can say is think it through before you get involved. Pros: Didn't hire them. Cons: Could be... more

What an amazing company!!! 3/27/2008

Homefront sure did a great job. I had already tried to get State Farm to pay for our new roof, but my claim was denied. That's when I found out about Homefront. Not only did they do a great job on our roof, but they also got our insurance company to pay for it. Make sure you call Homefront roofing before you pay for a new roof. Pros: Great service, new roof paid for by my insurance company!!! more

worst roofing company ever 11/27/2007

We regret using this company for a new roof/shingles on our small home. The job was supposed to take two days. They sent a crew of only two men who worked very poorly and it took over eight days to complete.\r The roofers did not come with their own supplies and even had to use our ladders. They left a pile of mangled gutters from another job site im our front yard for a week. They damaged our gutters and now our new roof has failed city inspection, stating it's not up to code. Not only is their work eithic extremely poor, the quality is terrible and their customer service is a disgrace from management on down. more

Untrustworthy 8/22/2007

Do not trust this company. They will try to con their way into you signing a contract with them, especially elders or those who may not suspect a con. My insurance agent has even warned us against this company. Check the Denver BetterBusinessBureau's website and you'll notice that they've had a report filed against them for this exact matter. Cons: Corporate Ethics more
