I went to buy a lot of paint for my house, like 20 gallons. I had spent my time to pick out exactly what I wanted from what they had. After I got back to the store I noticed a price difference and spent more time finding colors that matched in the less expensive paint to save myself some money. The guy mixed the color combinations from the less expensive paint in the more expensive brand paint, and then argued with me about how it will still be the same color. I got upset and went back to plan A and felt like the stupid kid ripped me off, for my money and my time. After it was all done, I wish I would have taken my $650+ dollars to Lowes. I was so upset that I even at one point felt like I was out of hand for demanding that he fix it. I apologized to him even, because I knew I was very upset. Im sure its not anything to the guy but a job. But for all the money and work it takes to paint everything they shouldn't make you wait in line to wreck your evening. I could tell there wasnt anything he could care less about one way or the other. I asked for the manager and the guys coworker intervened and told him to fix it. They didn't want to bother him/her. I complained at the register and the girl called the same guy to come over from the department to talk about it some more. Talk about no one knowing who is supposed to be in charge. It is terrible that Lowe's is so far away. I hate this store and feel they should make all their employees take classes at 5:30 every Saturday morning on how to follow protocol, not make the decisions for their customers. They could even have a seminar or two on taking responsibility.
