If it's not at Lowe's our next stop is Home Depot of Augusta. Now this store I love. I can get lost in two places when I go here, well, three, the wallpaper isle, the carpet shop and in the kitchen displays. My husband always knows where to find me. My kitchen is so small you can wash dishes, get something out of the refrig and stir something on the stove and never take a step so walking around in those kitchens they have set up is heaven to me. We would have to knock out most of my house for me to have a kitchen like that. Oh, well, a girl can dream.
In the spring when my heart turns to flowers, that will die if I look at them, I love to go to their garden shop. I keep trying to get my yard fixed up, but my yard seems to be the last resting place for most plants. I think it's the watering thing, most plants have not figured out how to water themselves and I forget.
I also find that they have a large supply of storage containers of all sizes, even the baskets that are so popular now. They even have curtains which surprised me. I seem to find something new there every time I go.
I do find that Home Depot has a very nice supply of merchandise, and a wide variety of things. Also the staff is very helpful. They seem to have a large staff on hand all the time so you don't have to go looking for someone most of the time. If you look totally lost someone with an orange apron is going to ask you if you need help, and I usually do.
