Terrific service and quality merchandise 6/9/2012

I've purchased several things from the gallery, and have always been impressed with David's great communication and attention to detail. The works he carries speaks for itself. I love Earl Plummer's jewelery, and highly recommend any piece by this talented craftsman. I also appreciate the range of inuit art available. I have collected Kananginak images and Etulu Etidloie's sculptures for years, and it's great to know Home & Away carries these ites as well. In sum, highly recommended. more

My wife and I love to visit Home & Away. The collection of art, baskets and jewelry we find there is of the highest quality and the pieces represent such a diverse cross section of Native American styles. During the year the owner, David, has artisans visit the gallery to display their work and meet his clients. These visits provide a rare chance for insite into the culture of the artists and how they have mastered their craft. David has always been the most wonderful host. He gladly offers his knowledge of the works that he sells so not only do we purchase something we like, we feel connected to it because understand who made it and how it was made. Sometimes if there is time he shares a wonderful story of how he came to have some of the pieces that are in the gallery. We feel lucky to have found Home & Away and will continue to visit for many years to come. more

Home and Away always has a wonderful selection of artists, styles, communities, time periods - you name it. It is clear that they have long loved the art they represent, and their depth of knowledge in the field shines, as does their active commitment to those they serve. As serious collectors of Inuit art, we find Home and Away to be our most favorite gallery. We're always comfortable making our purchases there. We've introduced several friends who were just becoming familiar with this area of art, and they also enjoyed exploring the gallery and even made their first purchases there. more

David, I have enjoyed doing business with you and your Gallery since February 2003, when I saw a stone sculpture in one of your ads. I appreciate your advice and councel when I am trying to decide between two pieces. I find your advice to be honest and have not been led astray. It's always a pleasure to see you at various markets around the country. I do check your website regularly and will continue to do so. Also, when I was searching for just the right artwork by George Longfish your help in locating what I had been looking for was appreciated. I still enjoy that multimeda piece which hangs in my bedroom. Continued good business and I look forward to seeing the next exciting artwork on your website. My wife and I discovered Home & Away a number of years ago through a gallery listing in an art magazine, when the business was new. We have become friends of David and Ann over the years and trust their advice and appreciate their integrity. We have purchased Native American pieces ranging from the more expensive museum quality Inuit sculptures and Northwest Coast masks, to inexpensive jewelry for gifts. The gallery's inventory and variety are impressive, and there is good representation of recognized artists, including local native artisans. It is a pleasure to be able to visit a source of such high quality native arts in New England, without having to travel across the country or to Canada. And Home & Away's web site is always available. more
