Hodori Restaurant

Somebody suggested that we should try Hodory for good Korean food, so we did.\r \r We were greeted by the waitress and we sat down promptly.\r My husband ordered the BBQ chicken, pork and beef. I had the bugolgi dish only. We had the ones from the lunch menu. The bugolgi as usual was good, liked it. It was served with a ton of rice, but it was okay.\r Now, on the contrary my husband was unhappy with his meal. The pork came with many many many chunks of grease. Lastly, the side dishes were not so impressive, I think the kimchi really needed more kick, it was veeery mild.\r \r Pros: Good bugolgi. Cons: Very fatty chunks in the BBQ dish. more

I moved here from Los Angeles, where there are an abundance of Korean restaurants in Korea Town. So I know the difference between bad Korean food good Korean food (not to mention, I am Korean) And this restaurant is comparable in taste. I've been to a couple of Korean restaurants in Arizona, and have been very dissappointed. So I was very excited to find a decent Korean restaurant in this state. The service isn't great but if you've been to one or two Korean restaurants before, you know that great service is pretty non-existant. So I am not rating this restaurant based on service at all. But food taste and quality is excellent. I love the Kim Chee Chi Gae. Very spicy & flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant. Pros: Excellent dishes Cons: Service more

The food is good, but the service is not as good as the food....I asked for a glass of water and more side dishes to the waitress,and those requests never came to my table.btw I love their dwa jee bul go ghee & their tofu soup is very spicy and tasty...I love it. Pros: food Cons: service more
