Hires Auto

I recently had repairs on my car, when I picked up car and started to drive away notices it was ideling fast and engine light was on wich either of these were issues that were being repaired. took car right back and after relooking car over, they found yet another problem. The man at the check in\out desk told me the new problemsmust of just happened when I drove the car half way around the building, Don't understand how a mechanic would not notice a fast running engine and also check engine light on, well the pvc hose had a crack, which as the service desk man said must of happened as I drove the car half way around the building. funny thing is they were right next to the pvc hose during original repairs.....people are not dumb and don't stand there and try to make me believe such a straight up lye!! after spending thousands of dollars we are now done with the Hires of lyers!!!! more

My car was over heating,so I thought I would take it to hires auto. I drove the car there. As I pulled in it just started to over heat. I needed them to diagnose the over heating prob.. so I payed them 34+tax. I asked them how long it was going to be tell they pulled the car in. They told me like a hour or two! "Okay" so I went next door and got some food from wendys sat down and started to eat then minutes later they pulled my car around. With the moter still hot "knowing" then I left wendys ran some arons. like 3 to 4 hours latter they called me just telling me that I have a blown head gasket. They told me that it would be not worth doing the heads, They said they would put a newer moter that they have with 28,000 miles. for 3,200 $ I was Like What. so I hung up and went there. I asked them y was it over heating they couldn't tell me they didnt try to find it out. So I was mad and tried to leave in my car that was over heating. because when I brought it to them it still ran just over heating. THEY BLEW MY HEAD GASKET and wouldn't tell me but that they would put a moter in it for 3,200 $ my car now has a blown head gasket just from bringing it in to hires auto. every one that I talk to have nothing good to say about them. CAUTION!! they will rip you off!! more

This is a wonderful place to get different types of service done. I like to go there for a quick oil change. The guys working here are friendly and the service is fast. There is a Wendy's next door so sometimes my and the kids drop off the van and walk over for lunch. By the time we are done, the van is ready to go too. more
