Took a brand new bow in with sight, rest, and stab. Told a teen kid (that boasted how he can shoot any thing and take care of anything on any bow) that I needed my new bow setup for me to go shooting and if they can get everything installed and setup and sighted. He assured me that, that's what they do. 5 days later I came back to get my ready to shoot bow. I was told he needed to install a Peep (Ok expected that), a wrist sling (ok what ever), a new/different D-loop, and had to buy string wax. Ok, fine...\r
\r
Then I asked so how far did they sight it in for. He told me, they cant actually align the sight or do any shooting of it. That everyone is different, bla, bla, bla... I asked then what did they do? Just bolt on everything and charge me for it. He said I can go back and use the range to sight it in. I explained I was a beginner and that I Needed someone else to do that and that's why I went to them. And that he was able to do all that he said. \r
\r
I left with a bow that was no better for me then when I dropped it off, OR ACTUALLY WORST!\r
I took it to Bass Pro Shops (A Nice store I might add!) and they opened the case and said sure they can sight it in for 20-30 yards. He looked closer at the peep they put on. The windings around the string were Loose and then found that they also added some string around the power string/cable. He asked me why they had to so that. I looked and said I duh know? \r
\r
They removed the added (Same color and texture as the peep added material and WAY different then the Martin stuff on the strings, and found that they must have cut the cable somehow and tried to fix it or HIDE it. \r
\r
SO I just called Hitech. They were combative, argumentative, and rude on the phone saying that they would never do that, that they can't sight in the bow, and that they are much more qualified the Bass Pro Shops.\r
\r
BOTTOM LINE, THIS PLACE EMPLOYS RUDE, LIEING AND POORLY TRAINED PEOPLE.\r
