The food was okay. Chorizo was average, bread was interesting but good. Don't order anything but steak. The steaks (we ordered 3) were superb, but the chicken was very overcooked. The service was above average, but keep in mind the restaurant has a slow pace. The ambiance however was quite bad. They allow small children, the music was okay(singing was not), and I wouldn't show up if it was raining... I counted no less than 3 (three) leaks in the ceiling, one onto an occupied table. Overall, the food is indulgent with a decent wine selection. The ambiance looks like a fine restaurant, but feels like a Denny's with great steaks. more

Not bad at all. First time at Hereford. Visited with a friend and was expecting a more Latin flare; but it was just right. Perfect wine selection and the meats where fantastic. Surely a place I'd visit again. Thank you for the service. Very professional and polite. more

The food at the Hereford Grill is excellent! The steaks are perfect cooked. They are never drive, always juice. The watercress salad with avocado is a perfect side for any of their steaks. The fried arepitas with white cheese and cream are to die for. The Hereford grill is without doubt a restaurant to enjoy a marvelous meal. Evelyn Marrero. more

I have eaten here several times. This most recent trip I tried the Lobster Bisque which was fantastic. The salads are always crisp. I had the sea bass this time (never had anything other than steak before) and it was exceptional. The reports on the NY cut steak were good also (my guests both had it). The "rice pudding with cinnamon was fantastic. They also had a coconut cake which my guests loved. I will say the service could be better but it was not bad. I will be back. more

I had to find a place to meet friends that was near both of our offices and we chose this because of the location and were not sure if we would like the food. \r \r Their lunch special was super reasonable ($9.95) and the food and the service were both great! They bring miniature arepas with the bread that were to die for! I would definitely recommend it. more

This place is what great latino influenced food is all about in Miami. If you want to try something a little different from the traditional steakhouses this is a great find. I have been going there for mostly business lunches and a few dinners since 1996 and consistently love the place. Unlike many places in Miami, if you don't speak spanish you will still treated good. Don't let the fact that it's at the bottom of a bank building throw you. Service is usually very good. Highly recommended from the arepitas to the steak to the desert cart. You won't be dissapointed. more

Last night we were invited by our Venezuelan friends to this cozy restaurant named after a breed founded the town of Herefordshire, England, some two and a half centuries ago. Hereford Grill in Miami was a very welcome surprise. Upon arrival we felt a distinctive South American warmth in the care and superb service from their Maitre d to the entire staff. We gathered around the Piano Bar for some drinks before we headed to our table. Undoubtedly, Beef is the star attraction at this steakhouse. My wifes 6 oz Filet Mignon was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Personally I ordered the classic 18 oz NY Strip and it was outstanding. This is a really nice. When you come in you are received by the valet parking service just as in any other fine restaurant and once you walk in you will always have someone right there to greet you and direct you to your table. SOME PEOPLE might be mistaken and say this is a cuban restaurant. People will know that this is a Venezuelan Restaurant just by seeing The Delicious Arepitas that are placed at your table as soon as you are sat down. The steaks are to die for and side dishes are more than enough. The staff is very pleasant and are always around to serve anything that comes to mind. GREAT FOOD GREAT PLACE. This place is located at a very busy intersection and always seems packed....The inside is a bit small but yet elegant. The service was good. The steaks are decent size, but the side are indeed small. The wine list is a bit weak, but it will get you by. The parking needs some improvement.
