Here To There Movers

I used the Columbus, Ohio crew and was nothing but impressed. I actually moved twice, the first time I took all the ""little"" stuff and some basics to my new place, leaving the old place staged for selling. After it sold, I had them come back out and move the rest of my things. During the first move they were absolutely polite, OFFERED to help rearrange the furniture to make the staging better, and hustled with the greatest of care, even coming in under the time estimate. I even moved three huge parrot cages and they didn't miss a beat. I was moving under difficult circumstances and didn't know where I wanted everything to be put, especially since it was only part of my stuff. They took the time to look at the rooms, look at the furniture, and help me put things together as they unloaded the truck. They went out of their way to start putting my home back together for me. When I had them out to do the second half of the move they packed all my artwork and decorative items that had been left for staging with incredible attention to detail -- one very delicate glass piece they wrapped up tight and put in the cab with them! When they arrived at the new place with the second load they did a walk through and ASKED ME what I wanted to move around inside the house now that all my furniture was there. They moved things around that were already there so that my furniture could be arranged ""like home"" for me. I used two different Columbus, Ohio crews two different times and have nothing but fantastic things to say about all of them. I have absolutely no qualms telling everyone in mid-Ohio to use the Columbus-based crews for all their moving needs. more

I grew up in a military family and have had to move many times in my life. Never have I come across a more professional and courteous company.\r Frank came out and did a FREE estimate for me, and the bill actually came in lower than was estimated!!\r My crew was extremely careful with all my items, taking the time to pad and wrap all my furniture. I have several fragile and expensive pieces that I am always concerned about moving and the guys were extremely respectful of my wishes. \r Not once did I hear a complaint, and I had to force them to take a break!\r My bill was less than I expected, my crew was careful, quick, and efficent, and my move was done in half the time its taken in the past with not so much as a scratch! I LOVE this company and will definitely refer everyone I know to them!! \r Thank guys!!! more

This move was fantastic compared to previous moves with the competition! The men arrived on time, began wrapping our stuff and had everything on the truck before I could even get my clothes into my car. The team moved all my heavy stuff up the stairs at my new place so quickly and efficiently. When I move again you can bet your bottom dollar I will use Here To There Movers! Thanks guys! more

Filed a complaint with the BBB and PUCO. They over charged, stole electronic items, broke chairs pictures and smaller glass items, scratched expensive dining room table and Armoire. Worst of all one of the movers kept coming on to my daughter. My daughter heard 2 of the movers talking perversely about the both of us thinking she wasn't in hearing distance. I didn't find this out until after they left. They were sneaky and devious. Hiding the broken things in between things in the basement still needing to be unpacked. I paid for a 3rd guy who sat in the truck for the last 2 hours.They prey on divorced women and their children. Watch out! Get a refund for your Groupon they will overcharge in order to make up for the deal they pretend to offer. more

My experience with Here To There Movers was great!!! I had 3 men, Robert, Paul and Wayne. They were professional, friendly, and very fast. They arrived right on time and finished much sooner than I expected. more

This is my second experience with Here to there Movers (third experience will be next week) and I would definitely recommend my particular 'crew' to everyone. Not only were they right on time they went out of their way to be helpful, quick, courteous and polite. I am in the Columbus area and everyone I have spoken to (from movers to dispatchers) have been extremely helpful during this enormously stressful time. more

I had never used movers before and bought a groupon for here to there movers...they were awesome!! Jess and Paul really worked together as a team...would recommend them! more

I bought the groupon and couldn't be happier. I had Jessie and Paul and not only were they polite and friendly but they worked their butts off. We loved our movers.They were on time and got everything done really fast.We told them what we wanted done and that's what they did :) The men who helped us were polite and friendly and I was very satisfied with their work. I recommend this company because they work with you and they are very flexible when it comes to having to change your time and date. They worked with me really well. FILED COMPLAINT WITH BBB!!!! I purchased a groupon for these movers and am sooo sorry I did. They showed up 36 hours after they were scheduled. I was told several times, we'll be there in two hours, dont worry. No one showed. I talked to someone who said he was the manager and he was extremely rude. After asking to speak to his boss he stated, ""I own the company so I guess that makes God my boss now doesn't it? "" and hung up on me. The next day the owner of the local franchise called and apologized. He said he would bring an extra man at no charge to me in order to get my move done a little faster since they didnt show the day before. He shows up 36 hours after the original time with 2 people, not 3. He stated he had to go get the third guy. So I was down to 1 man for 90 minutes and he told me the third guy was 20 minutes tops from where I lived. After loading my belongings, its now 12AM, we get to the new house where he demands payment for the 3rd man he brought. I told him that he said this extra man was a courtesy for not showing up the day before not to mention there was only one man for 90 minutes. He called me a liar and said that my stuff was not coming off the truck until I paid. He said he had put people things in storage before for non payment and he had no problem doing it to me. It was 1:15 in the morning and I paid to get my stuff of this truck and this man off my lawn. They ripped my suede couch, broke several of my glass items and style my microwave. No matter how much you think you're saving with this company, you're a lot further ahead paying more for someone else. more

NEVER AGAIN!!!! We scheduled a 2PM move with Here To There Movers, knowing that there could be an adjustment to the arrival time, but were informed if they were going to be later than the 2:00 time we would receive a phone call. Almost 2 hours later, we got a phone call indicating they would be picking up our item at the scheduled location in another hour and then arriving at our home with it approximately 3 1/2 hours after our ""tentative"" appointment. I spoke to customer service, what a joke, I was then transferred to a manager who indicated he would tell the driver to ""put a pep in his step"". Gee, thanks, really!?!!? I would not recommend using these people, unless they learn the value of treating the customer with respect and courtesy. more

Our experience was great. The guys worked really hard and even moved a couple of pieces twice because we kept changing its place in our home. No complaints from the guys. just a couple of breaks. God forbid we have to move again any time soon. However if we have to we would most absolutely use Here to There again. Thanks guys!!! more

AWEFUL!! I think they stole several DVDs, and they scratched several pieces of furniture. They scratched my ceiling, and their solution was ""its not that noticeable, it will only take some popcorn paint."", well that is fine, but you did it. more

Our experience was awesome!!! We had used a different company last year and were so pleased with the price and company! They were fast and worked hard. We will use them again and would recommend them to anyone in the Columbus area! more

BEWARE!!!! We scheduled a 2PM move with Here To There Movers, knowing that there could be an adjustment to the arrival time. After numerous phone calls from the movers,they finally came 5 hours and 15 minutes late! This is not acceptable! more

I recently used this company to move some furniture from Columbus, OH to Athens, OH. I spoke with three other companies and they were the cheapest. The day if the move they showed up on time, were quick to pack up and delivered as promised with no damage to any items moved. I would recommend this company and would use them again in the future. more

I used the moving service in Columbus and was very pleased. I had found the company via a groupon so was a little hesitant - but was so very pleasantly surprised! The two guys showed up on time, worked efficiently, were very pleasant and personable, and completed the work within the time I had already paid for via the groupon. Have already recommended them!! more

This was the first time I've used a moving company and I am so glad I did. They finished in just 3 hours. They were professional movers who have had experience. Nothing was broken and they wrapped everything. I will use them again more

My closing date pushed back 3 times and when I finaly closed I called them late that evening and they were able to arrive the very next morning and did it in less time then originaly estimated. I would refer them to everyone!!! The intire crew was fantastic! more
