Great staff! Great help! 11/7/2005

You'll find quality cakes and pastries and a great price at Herb's bakery. Their staff is extremely helpful. Their food always looks great and tastes even better. Their staff was super helpful with my wedding- they even helped me figure out a way to make the cake cheaper by serving supplemental sheet cakes. They have been around for years and are well established. Not to mention they are easy to find off of Larkin Avenue. more

Best Elgin Bakery 8/13/2005

You can gain ten pounds just by walking in their door! Cakes, cookies, donuts!! Yum! Herb's has lots of donut varieties (the chocolate cake is #1). They make customized occasion cakes and also have sweet table offerings. Cash, check, and credit cards accepted. Try the German pretzels!! You will go back for more. more

    Along with cakes, we bake mouth-watering pastries, cookies, and breads. We still employ time-honored traditional recipes, as well as modern creations in order to make everyone?s mouth and belly happy.

    For weddings and corporate events we offer a cake buffet table that includes any variety of flavors you could possibly desire.

    All desserts and dessert accessories like icing and filling are made from scratch. For holiday functions, we?ve created beautiful Thanksgiving and Halloween-themed cakes complete with layers and layers of soft, deliciousness and icing made to resemble pumpkins and leaves.
