Sad to see that Misty is still with this firm. Totally Criminal! This firm’s fees will leave you penny less. They will double and triple charge you with no conscience. Almost ½ million dollars and 2 years later, we find that our Attorney, Tray Hendershot is the old law firm partner of Judge James H. Shoemake of Fort Bend County. Neither party disclosed this relationship to either side. Once faced with their omissions, both Hendershot and Shoemake decide to make emends by throwing us under the bus. Shoemake by refusing to hear our defense after the plaintiff completes its accounts, and Hendershot by saying that he would not represent us if we decided to go forward against his advice of settlement without the benefit of presenting our side. Needless to say, we lost the rights to our own property because of some modern day squatter’s law (Easement by Estapa) More like Gestapo! According to my research, this is not the first time Judge Showemake has destroyed lives due to his unwillingness to make decisions or Hendershot by over charging to the point of obscenity. In my opinion, both Hendershot and Shoemake should answer for their unethical practices and over charging. more

I want to take this opportunity to praise Lennea Cannon?s efforts in her representation on my divorce. She not only was very professional but compassionate as well. I hate divorce and it is a very painful, humiliating ordeal to go through even when it is justified. Terminated services with this firm early and cut my losses while I could. I felt my concerns were not addressed professionally and things were made up on the cuff. They were unresponsive to calls, over a couple months period, requesting an invoice and the remainder of huge retainer. When I finally got a hold of the attorney and asked why it took so long to get a response, he RUDELY exclaimed - HOW IS THAT MY PROBLEM?!?! They definitely do not look out for the interest of their clients nor take responsibility for their actions. Very hard to work with an attorney who is unresponsive once he gets your retainer fee.
