Heads Up Hair Cutting Center

I have gone to heads up a few times and I have never had a problem what so ever my hair always looked great... until yesterday.... Hands down it is the worst haircut I have ever gotten. It looks like someone took a weed whacker to the back of my head. How hard is it to do an A-line bob! I now have to go elsewhere to get my hair fixed. I honestly think the woman who did my my hair slipped with the clippers and when she realized what she had done she styled my hair so I would never notice until I got home and styled it the way I wanted it. I will never go back! Shame on you for allowing someone that horrid to work for you, if she made a mistake she should have been upfront about it and FIXED IT! more

Edna is the owner and is a very diligent owner and operator. I commend her for taking care of her clients in a manner that leaves you wanting to return. This is a busy location, with many walkins as well as customers with appointments so it must be a challenge to keep things running smoothly especially on busy days. if you desire a good hair cut at a reasonable price--this is the place. more

I took my adult son with down syndrome to the Heads up on Mt. View Rd at Hickory Hollow. Since I was badly in need as well, I decided to get mine cut while I was there with him. The staff there were great. My son was treated like a person who knew what he wanted (which he does know) and got the haircut he showed them in the book! He was so pleased that he tipped the guy the his own money he had in his wallet instead of waiting for me to give him money. Does this tell you something? :) SharRon gave me a shampoo, cut and style. This was my first time she cut my hair. I, too, looked through the book to show her a picture of what I was aiming for. She did a wonderful job and took the time to tell me what my options were at several points....and when I told her what I wanted, she told me which option would give me that. I was very pleased with how my hair turned out. My 10 year old daughter even said, "Mom, it really looks like the picture this time!" One thing I can recommend if you plan to visit...call ahead and make an appointment or get an idea of how the schedule for stylist you prefer is looking. Not what I usually observe at other salons, but at Heads Up yesterday, I observed that every person that came in while I was there, was requesting their favorite stylist....and was willing to wait or come back at a later time in the day! The stylists seem to have very loyal return customers. Great results at a great price! THUMBS UP FOR HEADS UP!!! :) more
