Went to headliners for the first time and walked out with one of the best cuts and color I've ever had! She found the perfect color for my skin tone and coaxed sooo much volume and so many curls out of my hair that I was astounded. Better yet - she taught me how. Will be going back again and again! more

I went to headliners for a birthday package from my husband, and it was truly the nicest spa and salon i had ever been to. i travel a lot for work and have had numerous services at many salons. Here the haircut and hiilite was perfect, they really cater to what will look good on you. In the spa i had a pedicure and facial and the pedicure was unbelivably luxurious with a mask scrub lotion and long massage, was about an hour long! and the facial really cleared my skin up, truly an amazing place. and the prices are extremely reasonable in comparison to other salons and especially good for the services you get in return! I have been to see Tina in the spa (I will only go to Elegant Edge in Ashford for hair) several times and each time I have been very impressed. She does an excellent job, better than most places I have tried over the years. Five stars for Tina/skill, 2 stars for price, which is high for the area. I have been going to Headliners for a number of years now, and can't think of a bad service. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. And I get the best massages and facials I've ever had. I have been getting my hair cut and colored there for years, and now several of my friends go there and see different stylists. My friends love there stylists. I've gotten to know the staff and I look forward to my regular trips to the spa and salon. I would recommend highly to try this gem in the country (tolland). Although I'm extremely loyal to my own hair stylist for colors/cuts I travel weekly and visit various salon's in cities all over the country. The only service I request is a blowdry from an unfamiliar stylist. I have tried this salon 3 times this summer (June-August 2007) while in Ct. and I've yet to walk out with a blowdry that would be considered accomplished. Typically I have to attend a work function and am heading directly to the airport but only once out my three visits did I not have to immediately have my hair done again (prior to attending the function). I've even seen one of their ""senior stylists"" twice and a blowdry is a basic request. This salon just doesn't seem to offer a consistent or quality product and I would not recommend it to anyone. Good luck but try another salon. I've been to hundreds of salon nationwide and this tops the worst list.:) Pros: n/a Cons: need experienced stylists more

Salon way overrated! I grew my hair out for 3 months, in anticipation of getting a new and exciting hairstyle at this place. I had seen a nice hair cut and knew of the owner's rep., so I decided to try it out. I requested a ""senior stylist"" and brought my own pictures in. What I walked out with was nothing like the pictures looked like. It was a technically proficient cut; boring, bland, nothing creative or artistic. The bare mininimum. I went home and trimmed my bangs and tried to give it some life. Not trying to sound repetitive, but my hair is so boring and ugly to me at this point, I have bought some head bands to get me through another 3 0r 4 months, so I can grow it out and regroup. Totally not worth the time, gas, or $43 for the cut. If you want an average, boring, housewife-on-the-prairie look, then this is the place for you! Too bad, what a disappointment. more

I have been going to Headliners for at least 15 years now and have tried at least 5 of the stylists. I moved away over 2 years now and simply must drive back, this is after trying at least 5 salons in my new area - it is worth the drive! Whether it be a regular visit, from cut to color to style - they can do it all, or personal spa treatment or a complete makeover (a whole new hair style), something I would trust to no one else - they are the salon for the job. I have told so many friends about them, none of which have been disappointed! I trust you won't either. The treatment is A #1 - you feel like a queen from the minute you arrive until you leave. I hope your experience is the same as all of mine. The management knows what they are doing. Keep up the good work. Pros: Abience and treatment are first class Cons: none from what I've experienced more
