As others have already said, this is a great neighborhood place. The food, service, and atmosphere are all very enjoyable and comparable to some of the best chop houses in LoDo. However, Harry's is about half the price, much more relaxing and not as ""stuffy"" as some other steakhouses. Our steaks were perfectly cooked, full of flavor and so delicious. I had the filet (med rare) and my girlfriend had the blackened ribeye (med), and both were cooked exactly how we ordered them. The wine list is small but encompassing and they are currently going through many changes, which was a little frustrating. The atmosphere is very laid-back yet romantic, and the jazz music they had playing was fitting and tasteful. The staff is very knowledgeable and on top of everything...Honestly, we never once had to ask for more water or had to refill our own wine glasses. The manager, Rob was very friendly and took much pride in his establishment. ""If it's not right, we'll fix it"" was his description of their overall attitude, which I found very appropriate and refreshing to hear. The only problem was, there was nothing wrong that needed fixing. Rob was also very generous and gave us a free desert (since it was my girlfriend's birthday), and that too was simply delicious. \r
We were very pleased with our entire experience and would highly recommend Harry's to anyone who is looking for a romantic, yet relaxed evening. The steaks are moderately priced ($25ish) but there are also cheaper alternatives (burgers, pasta, chicken, etc). I believe Harry's Chop house will become a regular destination for us when we are looking for a good steak and a bottle of wine to celebrate our next event.
Pros: Great Steaks, service and atmosphere
Cons: a la carte, means no salad with entrees
