Great Breakfast Spot 11/8/2010

This is a great breakfast spot although sometimes the wait can be very long and it can get somewhat crowded inside. They offer a little bit of everything so if you aren't wanting breakfast you can order lunch/dinner. The pie shakes are yummy and the service is always friendly. more

Any Time Of Day 8/30/2010

My husband and I love bringing our son here to eat. You can get any type of meal at any time during the day. You can get lunch in the morning or breakfast in the afternoon. The food is always good and you always leave satisfied. One thing I highly recommend trying are the pie milkshakes, they are a must. I know my family and I will continue to come here for many years. more

Only Okay 8/17/2010

Hamburg Inn was one of the first places I ate at after moving to Iowa City. I had heard so much about it from my sister and her friends I had to try it right away. One thing I like about it is that you can eat breakfast at any time during the day, I'm a big fan of breakfast and can eat it all the time. However, the food here is only okay, nothing really stands out to me. The service is friendly and prompt but the food seems somewhat bland to me. So far I haven't tried anything that makes me want to continue going back but my friends continue to drag me there. The food isn't horrible or anything it just doesn't do it for me. more
