Hair Sensations

I have been going to Nicole for the better part of ten years and she is the best nail girl I have ever used, She did a beautiful job for my prom, engadgment, and wedding. I have not always lived in the area so I have tried other people and have never been happy like I am when I use Nicole. She has had her nail licence for over ten years and has been given the green light by the state board on more than one occacion. As far as her other reviews go, I find it extreamly interesting that all of them were written on one day. ( I assure you, she could never curse someone in spanish.... she can't even say "Hello" in spanish.) Nicole does not have the best luck with men, or their ex girlfriends. This looks like sabatoge to me. I remember she had some drama like this at the time of these facticious reviews. All of that is besides the point, Nicole has successfully ran this businees since the young age of 18. I dont know many people that would trust a 18 year old with their beauty. To show the maturaty to stick with something and run with it tells a great deal about her ability and her professionalism. Pros: Nicole Cons: the solon no longer exsists more

I'm a regular when it comes to getting my nails done and I love looking fancy. My regular gal wasn't available and so I had to take an appointment with a lady named Nicole; and let me tell you, I'll never be seeing her again! She was extremely unprofessional and continously sneezed all over my hands during my fill. She never washed her hands a single time! She kept chatting on her cell phone and prolonged my visit to an unacceptable hour and a half for a simple fill! After I asked her to please concentrate on me as I had a prior engagement that I was now going to be late to, she gave me a snotty attitude and proceeded to be careless with her use of products, which caused me to end up with a fungal infection on 6 out of my 10 nails! She later denied that she ever provided service to me and would not reimburse me for my money spent on the faulty "work" she did. I do not recommend Nicole! more

Please note that my review is strictly in regards to the nail services at Hair Sensations - I am not speaking for any other services that they provide. I went here a couple of months ago and got my nails done by Nicole for a wedding. I had a full acrylic set put on by her. During my appointment, she was very unattentive; talking to all the other staff and not really focusing on me - her client. Because she was distracted and not really watching what she was doing, she nicked my cuticle. I said OW! and pulled my hand back and she quickly wiped it with cotton and kept working without even apologizing. She finally finished and I left as a rather unhappy customer. I became even more livid a couple of weeks later when I developed discoloration under one of my nails. I went to the doctor and they told me that I had nail fungus and they guaranteed me that it was caused when my cuticle was nicked while getting my nails done. I immediately tried to contact Nicole, but have still had no return phone call to date. I don't even want to go in there to deal with it. I wound up losing half of my nail and it's still growing back. Please note, this is THE ONLY time I ever got my nails done, so there is no chance that this came from anywhere else. I would not make these allegations if I wasn't certain that it was her fault. I've since been advised that any tools should come out of a sterile jar, which did not happen when I was there. I was new in the area, and my neighboard told me that there was a nail lady that she met in Mexico that worked there. I did an appointment with her because we are from the same city in Michoacan. I was really unhappy, because she didn't showed up, and this lady, Nicole decided to do my nails, she made me wait almost 45 minutes because she told me she was with another client, but spent almost all the time on the phone. She did a horrible job, didn't wear gloves, didn't wash her hands, she was rude and almost degrading me because I have an accent. I ended up letting her work on 2 nails and it was hurting so bad that I told her to stop and decided to go somewhere else. She gave me an attitude, yell at me and she even cursed to me in a broken spanish (called me, pinche vieja). I might be from Michoacan, Mexico, but I'm a human being and a customer, I deserve to be respected. Don't recommend this place at all, Nicole is not friendly or even professional! very warm friendly staff, services were relaxing, tyhe owners are on site and very interactive with all the clients, and there is such a wide variety of services. hair, nails,massage, estetics,and tanning. i would recommend this salon to everyone. more
