Okay--drop everything and head over to this great thrift store. It's the only thrift store I know of that doesn't have that "thrift store smell". It's clean, well-lit and spacious with great prices and sales. The staff will go out of their way to help you out. Sometimes, if you're really nice to them, they will let you snoop in their back room. Even the rest rooms are pleasant! Sign up for their mailing list (email) and you'll receive private event and sales notices. I bought a 32" color JVC TV at one of their member's only days for $150 and it's the best TV I've ever owned! It's great place to get all sorts of home improvement supplies--especially paint, appliances and doors.
All proceeds go to assist Habitat for Humanity--which is a great nonprofit building homes for low-income families. It's a win-win--you can't lose.
They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
