Gypsy's Shiny Diner is just what it is - a diner. It's food is not great, it is greasy spoon diner food. And as for value, get a foot long hot dog and a milkshake, and get ready...

Gotta love Gypsy's 4/14/2006

I love everything about Gypsy's Shiny Diner: food, atmosphere, location, staff, jukebox. Gypsy's is a unique looking restaurant. It's facade is completely chrome, so on those beautiful sunny NC days, it surely shines brightly! The interior neon decor emphasizes "DINER!" as does the menu. Menu offers burgers, open faced sandwiches and divine desserts. If you didn't save room, make sure you take dessert home with you. Prices are diner prices -- meaning GREAT! Food is tasty and made to order. Staff is friendly in that family type of way. Service is quick. Oh! Don't let me forget to mention the jukeboxes: each table has a little jukebox so you can choose your own rockin' dining music. Love that! Love Gypsy's! more
