Gym

I have been to the Montvale club...it was priced under 100/month when it first opened and seemed to be a good value, but I didn't live near it. I recently went to the new Armonk club., not far from my work. It seems to lack the energy and character of the Montvale club. It is also about 130-140/month. The staff was not very friendly, it has a very sterile and somewhat uncomfortable feel to it. The nicest part of the whole club was the locker room/bathroom/showers. They have the same equipment everyone else has with a couple of unique exceptions. Maybe most suprising was the lack of TV screens on the cardio equipment. I currently go to NYSC and it is about 1/2 the price with virtually all the same stuff and awesome sound and video systems....less the spectacular locker rooms. Pros: nicely built club Cons: very cold, unfriendly feel, no tv's on cardio!!! more

At their prices you would think the equipment was made of gold. Very hoity toity and everyone is in spandex and dressed up like they are going to a prom rather than working out. Not friendly and way too expensive Pros: clean, empty Cons: overpriced, angry women more
