Best

Food is always quality. An affordable price is a high point. Not to mention the best wings I have had in the city. Highly recommend!

I Love This Place 3/12/2009

Gusto never disappoints. Always good food, always friendly, and the student discount doesn't hurt either. BBQ chicken pizza and italian hoagie are personal favorites. Pros: Cheap, Friendly, Delicious more

I have tried a number of pizza places since moving to the city in September. So far this is the best I have found. Delivery was 15 minutes early. I will definitely order again. more

Very uneven menu 10/21/2008

I live across the street from Gusto, so out of laziness, I order from them a lot, and I've tried a lot of different things on the menu. I'm not sure I get the raves the place is getting from so many of the reviewers. There are some Gusto items I've gotten that I like a lot - their calzones are excellent. Pros: Good Calzones, friendly service Cons: not very good pizza more

Dedicated fan 9/20/2008

I have my reservations toward American pizza, but Gusto is defies all my preconceptions every time. I am not crazy about the ambiance of the place, but I am always happy to walk 8 blocks there and back for my favorite Gusto pizza. The dough is thin and superb and the ingredients used are fresh and high quality. As for the service, they are helpful, friendly and fast. What can I say? I'm a fan. Pros: Great Pizza, large variety on menu, good ingredients, great service Cons: Ambience more

Fantastic neighborhood pizza place 5/18/2008

I love Gusto. If my plans involve getting pizza, I'm giving Gusto a call. They have great sandwiches (try the buffalo chicken steak), and great onion rings, but I love the pizza. Their crust is crisp and not super doughy. My favorite pizza is the basil/tomato/pesto white pizza. Pros: Great dough, Efficient service Cons: Expensive, but not more so than other area pizza places more

Great corner pizza shop - Go for the simple pies 1/3/2007

Overall, Gusto offers very tasty pizza - in a warm cozy brick-lined setting if you're eating in. Though I would take issue with the other review comparing Gusto to Mama Palma's around the corner. Gusto is a great corner pizza shop, with food way better than most pizza/steak joints. A highlight for me is their sauce/gravy, which is seriously delish. Mama Palma's is more of a sit down gourmet pizza joint with fancier options (though also very good). Pros: basic pizzas, ambience Cons: fancier items, chicken steaks more

Great Place for Families 9/30/2006

Excellent place to go! Very family friendly, good food, friendly and normal wait staff! (Take your kids here instead of Mama Palma's, and you will be so-o-o-o much happier!) They will actually let you in and you can decide where you want to sit! Here you get great service even if you do bring your kids! You can even eat outside. It is great for the neighborhood with good pizza, burgers, great fries and fresh salads. Pros: Great for Families Cons: a little small more

No complaints whatsoever - pure satisfaction 8/15/2006

I have nothing bad to say about this place. I live across the street and have had a lot of items from the menu. Friends come into town and we always take them there. Never a bad review. For pick up, food is ready in 10 minutes. My favorites would have to be the Sausage, pepper and onion calzone, the grilled chicken sandwhich with brocolli rabe and roasted red peppers or the italian hoagie. The curly fries and the mozzarella sticks are also delicious. They have student discounts and lots of coupons. I am going there for dinner again tonight. Pros: Everything on the menu, service, price more
