The place is nice an beautiful but the food and service were bad! The food tastes like Italian out of the can.\r Our waiter was so high I could smell pot coming out of his breath and hands he forgot half of our food meanwhile another waiter came to refill our water and spill a hole glass on my feet didn't even bother lo help me out !\r Don't waste your money going there! so sad la sombra is gone..;( more

Just right for date night - fresh Italian cuisine in a romantic setting. Creative nightly specials are menu standouts, along with the pasta dishes. more

  • La Sombra Bar & Grill is the latest addition to Burnet Road's vastly expanding food and drink epicenter. A Latin American bar and grill with classic cocktails such as Pisco Sours (get the Chileno, made with lemon and served up in a Champagne flute) and culinary-inspired creations, one is made with fig and basil that has my name on it! Fabulous bites include a bevy of bountiful ceviches, perfect to go with the extensive cocktail creations. The design both inside and out is sure to be up for awards. Service here was attentive and flawless. This may very well be Austin's hottest new restaurant, you heard it here first and it is fabulous!
