i went into the shop on july 25...the stylist that called me was new and i had misgivings about letting her cut my hair...against my better judgement, i went back and sat in the chair...she asked ""trim??""...i said 'yes' because a trim, i knew, was less than a haircut...she did what i thought was a good ""trim"" after which i went to the register to pay...she said ""twelve dollars""...i said, ""a trim is around $9, isn't it??""...she replied that she had done a full haircut (without telling me of the upgrade)...i was very disappointed in the way i was treated...this was at the south fry location...i'm attempting to talk to the owner, but when i call i get the fax machine...
Pros: it's near my house and generally not crowded, probably for a good reason
Cons: like most salons, the turnover is tremendous...don't worry about tipping because you'll never see the stylist again
