Seriously, this is not a mall. My job is attached to this mall and I'm downtown 5 days a week. There are few attractions in this "mall." There's a Radio Shack, TJ Maxx, a Boston Store, and a food court. Oh, and a place to buy coffee. Every other store is airbrushed T-shirts, oversized fake watches and jewlery or shoes, not even good shoes.
The few stores that were worth going to are now gone because of the mall's awful managment and lack of ability to attract and maintain reatilers with quality product. This place is literally at the center of Metro Milwaukee, surrounded by buisnesses, hotels, restaraunts, etc. The location is surrounded with people with A LOT of money and lunch breaks but they all need to drive to Bayshore or Mayfair Mall if they want to spend that money on decent clothes or accessories.
It is a prime location downtown but would probably see more buisness as a warehouse. Wake up Grand Avenue managment. You have a location that has potential to be the hub of downtown during the day. Our winters are cold and nasty and you have a skywalk that funnels people into your mall but they just walk through (maybe get some coffee or a sub). Half of your mall, almost an entire city block, is vacant. Some one does not know what they are doing and needs to be replaced. Resume available upon request (this would be a joke if I didn't actually think I could do a better job).
