I saw a previous review of the Golfsmith store and felt compelled to chime in. I too have noticed that Golfsmith's initial pricing may be a bit higher than Pro Golf Atlanta - but...

Don't forget the low price guarantee 2/14/2006

I saw a previous review of the Golfsmith store and felt compelled to chime in. I too have noticed that Golfsmith's initial pricing may be a bit higher than Pro Golf Atlanta - but the store is so much nicer to shop (Duluth specifically). I also feel that the store employees are much more knowledgeable and have better customer service than Pro Golf. \r \r As for pricing, I know that Golfsmith offers a 115% low-price guarantee - but I have only had to use this once before in my dealings with them (they actually gave me back 115% of the price difference). I'm sold and will be a customer for life. PROS: Selection, hitting area, knowledgeable and helpful employees CONS: Price, but not really with their low-price guarantee more

Good, but not great, golf Store 7/26/2005

Golfsmith features a variety of name brand golfing equipment. However, their prices can be beat at other golf or sporting goods stores. I enjoy browsing at Golfsmith, due to the their great selection of merchandise and spacious, well organized, stores. However, I have rarely purchased golf equipment there, due to the prices. It is possible to find bargains at Golfsmith, when their merchandise is on sale. However, I have found better deals at other golf stores that mark down their prices regularly. Since Golfsmith is a retailer, rather than a discount store, their merchandise is rarely marked down. For better deals, try Pro Golf Atlanta, the best golf discount store in the metor Atlanta area. PROS: Great selection, Spacious stores CONS: Prices can be beat more
