Jose and Derlin came to work on low water pressure in our upstairs shower. Jose diagnosed the problem and replaced the pressure valve and fixtures so now the water flows freely. They worked in difficult conditions as it was extremely humid and hot on that day and we have no air conditioners upstairs. We thank them for their efforts for a job well done.
Separately,
1. I have a question: the PF3C option we chose lists "sanitary drain clean and flush".and it is listed on our paid bill. Jose did not mention this when he explained the finished work they had done and I had forgotten about it so did not ask what was done in this regard. I hope this work was done.
2. The water comes out of he bath faucet not in a clean, uniform stream but splayed in all directions. It does not affect filling the tub or use of the shower so I can live with it. It just looks strange and I wondered if a piece was missing from the end of the faucet.
3. After the first use of the shower when it worked just fine, now the smaller water temperature handle will not operate separately from the larger water volume handle. When I move the temperature handle right or left to warmer or colder, the water volume also changes. So now I need 2 hands to change the water temperature, one hand to hold the water volume steady and the other to alter the water temperature. This is a problem when I a holding soap in one hand or need to hold a grab bar to bend down to the controls. This is a product defect of the Delta tap. Do you know of a fix? Can I spray silicone between the 2 handles or would that cause other problems like slippage and the handle not holding in the selected spot?
