Your charges exceeded every estimate and amount paid by everyone I know. My car was kept over the weekend and I had to pay 3 extra days on rental. Car was ready first thing Monday...

I trust Golbow's 5/24/2013

They fixed my crankshaft problem. A week later, my car wouldn't start. They picked it up, redid the work for no charge including the tow. The next time I had trouble with my car, they found a wiring problem that probably took them longer to figure out than they charged me for. Gotta go with your gut, and I trust these folks. They've been around for years with consistently good feedback. Glad to add mine. Lea Hilty more

Excellent First Experience 5/19/2013

A neighbor of mine recommended John years ago though I only recently acted upon his recomendation. I was pleased with his integrity and his honesty regarding what need to be done. My local Honda dealership quoted me a price that turned out to be three times what John charged me.John has made me a permanent customer. more

F250 Diesel Service 5/18/2013

Having been recommended I was tentative at first but, after speaking with John Dustin and him providing a complimentary OBD II check of the service engine light I was convinced I would be bringing my truck back for service. Made an appt. for the following week and the charges when done were exactly what John had quoted me. Very honest and I had a pleasurable experience. more

I'm a long-term customer. I'm not happy for the first time in many visits. The in-office wait for me was about four hours. The service is always well-done and honest - just no urgency this time, it seemed. One unhappy day out of many visits won't keep me away. more

I've used Golbow's about 3 times now in the last 9 years. They've been honest about what work needs to be done on my car. I've gone to them for second opinions after going to the dealership. They charged me half of what the dealership was going to. more

I no longer worry or stress, everyone at this family owned business are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful!!, again, I would not go anywhere else for my car services! Honest Shop, Great Service 6/17/2011

The first time I took a car there, it had starting and stalling issues. You know, the sort where a shop can truly take advantage of you. Well, they charged me about $35 for the fix and we have been taking cars there ever since. We get cars inspected there, because they NEVER find little things to raise the cost for you. So if they say something is wrong, I would trust them. Plus, they have wreckers, so they are on all our phones and we call them for tows. I trust Golbow's Garage more

Great customer service 12/7/2009

Today my son's car broke down in Katy on his way to our new home in San Antonio (he was coming from Virginia). They towed him within minutes of calling and had found the problem very quickly after that. They also provided him with a well-priced used tire to get him home (one kept deflating the whole trip). Everything was done in an hour! They also let me pay for the service over the phone with my credit card, as my son didn't have extra money on him. I appreciate so much the help they gave a traveler in need. My sister lives in Katy and says she is going to use their garage from now on after seeing how they handled my son's problem. Pros: Helpful and accurate with prices more
