We used Global Dish for a VIP breakfast reception and will never use them again. The caterers (and the coffee) arrived 1 hour late for set up - after guests started to arrive. No one called to tell us that they were going to be late or to explain where they were. This could have been forgiven if the rest of the experience was a positive one. It was not. The food was not what we expected. It was not visually appealing and unremarkable. The flavors were adequate but not special - the cinnamon roll that was served tasted exactly like a canned Pillsbury danish. Post-event was worse. Trying to get them to remove the dishware, glassware and tables was a impossible. After about 5 calls, everything was finally picked up. To top it off, billing was a nightmare. Most businesses bill on 30-90 day terms unless they tell you up front that they require payment on the day of service rendered. Not Global Dish, they will not give you payment terms, but will reserve the right to hound you on a daily basis for payment. My advice to you, only use this caterer if you want bad service, adequate food and harassment over payment.
