Gissendanner Photography

I don't normally write reviews but just had to! Gissendanner Photography has been part of my life since high senior portraits. My family used them for years when they had their studio in west Ashley. My parents home is adorned with beautiful canvas framed portraits taken of us as we grew up. After moving back to Charleston after several years I was looking for intimate special portraits for my wonderful husband. At first panic set in when I saw that my favorite photographer had closed the studio. Needless to say I was delighted to find him well and still practicing his wonderful art. As I now wrap this beautiful album he has created for me I'm anxiously waiting for my husband to open it! I was spoiled growing up because my parents insisted on quality photography. When I moved away I tried some of the new so called photographers that seem to be everywhere. I'm no expert but I can always tell Gissendanner's portraits from others. I highly recommend them for whatever you want photographed. They are always very professional and easy going. With there online ordering system I was able to view the proofs at my computer the next day. more

Gissendanner Photography did my maternity pictures and they turned out absolutely amazing! Mr. Gissendanner is very personable and made us feel very comfortable. He spent over two hours photographing my husband and I. We were very pleased that several different backgrounds were used. It provided us with a wide variety of wonderful photos to choose from. I was so eager to view our photographs after the session and could not believe that we were able to see them so quickly. All of our photos were pass word protected and posted on-line three days after our session. We have thoroughly enjoyed them being on-line because it has been so convenient for family and friends to view them. We also could not believe how quickly we received our photographs. I placed the order on a Thursday and received them the following Monday. I highly recommend using Gissendanner Photography and we look forward to them working with our family in the near future. more
