I was raised in Point Richmond in a Toscano household. I know good Italian food. (Peasant food) 
We traveled to italy recently and outside of a great B&B by San Gimignano, we had average food ( at best.)
 
We have been cutomers ever since the dinning room was open.  John's cooking is superb. 
We've always been treated in a grand fashion.  John is "hands on" with his customers. His servers are friendly and responsive.
  If you want lightening fast service, go to a fast food joint ! Italian dinning is slow and easy. Your not just there for the food. Take your time, relax, enjoy !
