This is probably the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with. I purchased an SUV from them, and after less than 4 days of having it, I got a call from their office telling me I had to return the vehicle and get a different one. The SUV they sold me had been repossessed, but they sold it to me before the legal amount of time to give the original owner to pay off the balance. The original owner was able to get the money together and came looking for their SUV, but I had already bought it. In other words, they sold me an illegal vehicle. Well, they were good enough to cover their tracks by putting me in what I thought was a reasonable alternative. Shortly after having the alternative SUV, I took it to a local garage that I trust. They told me that they should have never let me drive off the lot. The tires wouldn't pass inspection, there was no emergency break, the transmission was only held together by 3 or 4 bolts, needed a new oil pan, and the two front tie rods needed to be replaced. They were willing to do the work on the oil pan, but told me that they would not cover anything else on the list, after I had already purchased the extended warranty, for about $1200.
I scheduled the work to be done on the oil pan for the following week. 3 days later I lost control in a snow shower, slid down a hill, and hit a tree. My family is lucky to have their lives, and after explaining that I felt I wouldn't have had the accident if they had put inspect-able tires on it, they were still unwilling to put adequate tires on the vehicle. I am now considering legal action against this horrible business, and I have contacted state police regarding their inspection licenses. I warn anyone who is considering a vehicle from Gerry's Used Cars, to avoid them at all costs! They take advantage of people in difficult situations, that need a vehicle. They aren't worth one second of the stress you have to go through, after purchasing a lemon from their dealership.
