Wow, I could not be more impressed with the service I received during the install of my new air-conditioning unit...Ed and John are rock stars and did a fabulous and thorough job and now I'm cool again!! Can't tell you how great that is!!! And I loved watching the crane maneuver the old/new units to the roof (as did all my neighbors...they had their faces pressed against their windows!) Quite a show...it was a huge crane! Amy, you are a miracle worker! Never dreamed that I could have a new ac unit installed prior to the week-end...I figured I would have to wait into the next week to be on the install schedule. You rock, Amy! It was 85 degrees inside my apt and I was miserable, but you came to the rescue. You sure do know how to work the phones, Amy...and Ed and John agreed with me on that assessment. Tracy, thank you for always being so nice on the phone when I called and for assisting me with the payment part of the transaction. You're top notch too, Tracy. Ed and John, again kudos to you for a super job from start to finish...I appreciate that my apt was left clean and that all old parts/boxes/install debris were taken away and not left in the dumpster here at my bldg. Other companies who have installed here have filled up the dumpsters with debris and leaving us residents with no room for our trash bags. Small thing, perhaps, but it means a lot to me, and my neighbors. You are tops in my book (wish I could capitalize tops) and couldn't be happier with your work and how you got me back to cool again! Mike, in summary I want to say what a super team you have in place and I won't hesitate to use you all again and I will happily refer General to family/friends (I have already given out 2 of Ed's business cards...one to my sister and one to a neighbor.) She is the best customer service advisor we have known. Keep smiling Amy! You do an excellent job! Ken Mickelsen came and installed several cartridges under 2 sinks. The work involved removing old cartridges and replacing them with new ones. A lot of work went into this because there was old stuff that needed to be removed. He is professional, friendly, creative, and highly intelligent in his perception of problem solving issues. He is also a good listener and efficient with time. He solved an issue with our water heater by simply analyzing the situation, checking the water heater, and concluding that we would need to increase the temperature. His attitude is pleasant and his professional work makes him an excellent mentor for younger plumbers. Both Ken and Amy deserve 5 stars for their outstanding work. Thank you. more

Andrew came on Monday, when I had an emergency. He diagnosed the problem, and suggested the quickest and cheapest way to get the part. When he returned on Friday to finish the job, he came well within the window of time, and worked quickly and efficiently to install the faucet, and get me up and running again. We had a sewage backup on Sunday, Sept 1st, and called General Plumbing and Air Conditioning. My son met with Josh, who helped get the line snaked out for us to be able to at least flush the toilets during the approaching hurricane. He also promised to come back right after the storm passed to replace the broken pipe that seemed to be the problem. He did so, arriving on Wednesday morning early with Collin D to assist. They had the pipe dug up and exposed the problem, obtained the necessary equipment and pipe, and had the issue completely repaired within a couple of hours. We can't say enough about Collin and Josh. Friendly, professional and experienced in their work, we'll most definitely use this company for future plumbing needs. Thanks for your help, guys! more
