I wish there was a ZERO or even NEGATIVE rating!!!! This guy is arrogant and demining. He promised my item by the end of the week, when I did not receive a phone call I called him to find out where it was. He was rude and lied saying it would now be 2 weeks and that he told me that. I let it go and was just going to wait. He called me back later that day and had the nerve to tell me that I couldn't afford to go anywhere else and that his company made over $2 million. WHY DO I CARE??? He was rude to other customers while I was there. He did refund my deposit saying "" I don't deal with people like you."" When he wrote his check he decided to tell me ""don't worry it will cash becuase I have 6 figures in this account."" Again, WHY DO I CARE?? Finally he decided to tell me that if I had a $5000 dollar order maybe he would have choose to treat me better. IF YOU HAVE ANY SELF REPECT DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS MAN!!! more

We found this ads for mattresses online and went to their warehouse and were pleasantly surprised. It was like a Sam's Club for furniture. My boyfriend were ready to buy from a furniture store in town but it was a little pricey and we were told about this furniture warehouse place by the leasing office at Bellemy Grand. We didn't understand how they get furniture for so cheap. We found the sofa and loveseat at Furniture Country $1249 and we bought it $622 instead. When we didn't buy His line of lies and left. He followed us to our car throwing insults about My wife 'who was with me' and then myself as we drove away. He takes people into the warehoue one at a time or one couple at a time, so there are no other witnesses to his lies and badgering. It was an interesting way to do business, they operate out of a warehouse and are kind of hard to find. They have good stuff quite cheap, we were impressed by the price quality ratio. The problem is that they pressure you to buy now and you really need to haggle about the price. We got a mattress from them which was originally they said $1200, he quoted us $700 and we were able to bargain down to $500. If you are willing to go through the sales pitch and hold out on price it is a good way to get inexpensive furniture. If you want a relaxing sales room experience go somewhere else. more

I picked out a bedroom set and Serta mattress set from there today. I had to set up appointment and wasn't sure at first, but once I got there and saw the quality I was impressed. I purchased a real wood bed set and mattress set from Serta. They delivered it tonight right before the gator NCAA basketball game. I was surprised I got it so fast. A+ seller more

Uses the most foul and shameful tactics to steal customers from other honest furniture wholesalers and make a buck. He creates false urgency and tries to get you to spend money. When I told him I was shopping around, he spewed negative remarks and stories about a competing store which, when I was finally able to visit I found were completely false and only another attempt to con me into buying from him without shopping around first. When I went back and told him I preferred to do business with another store and wanted my deposit check back (which Id only given him hours before and was lying uncashed on his desk), he harassed me, called me annoying and stupid. He said he didnt care about my dissatisfaction because it was only one of thousands, that my dissatisfaction would have no affect on his business even if I did tell all of my friends because he gets over 600 calls a day and makes thousands of dollars. He refused to give me my check back because the other store didnt provide a better deal because my personal preference, the customers, had no bearing on what constituted a better deal, only he could determine what was a better deal. He knows nothing about customer satisfaction, nothing about business ethics, is only in it for the money. Im utterly appalled that he has remained in business (although hes been reported multiple times- which when I pointed that out to him he said 6 times [reported] in the past 6 years thats not bad), and hope and pray that as many people as possible can avoid him so that he can no longer prey on Gainesville consumers. more
