Gamma comes through for me, and has since day one, and I don't make it easy.
Vintage negatives, bright areas with dark areas, varied black skin tones (which itself is enough to have failed other labs), 40+ years of normal wear and tear (sometimes beyond), unusual lighting. Gamma is a blessing: caring, helpful, skilled, dedicated and cool master craftspeople, and real folks too.
Peter is a role model in patience and kindness, and though busy will take time out to listen, and in fact so will they all. I just work mostly directly with Peter, the one I can trust with my work that depicts more than one aspect of rare and special matters.
This is like doing business in S.F. back in the days of my grandfather (well, not counting that time he was Shanghaied) where quality and customer service were something one might more easily take for granted. I feel they go out of their way to make this so, as far as I'm concerned.
And, if you ever saw the Wiki on what 'gamma' is, the fact they dared named themselves after that alone shows me they have high consciousness indeed. ;)
