Galson Auto and Body

I've taken my vehicles to Galson since 1994. They have never pressured me to have additional, unnecessary work done, and I am always told upfront what costs to expect - which are in line or less than other local shops. more

I am a single mother of three. My finances are very tight and I only have liability insurance on my vehicle. I was involved in a hit and run accident. I was devestated and did not know what I was going to do. I heard of Galson Body from some neighbors in my comumity. I called them to see if they could help. Galson sent a wrecker to pick up my vehicle from the store where it was wrecked and repaired my vehicle for half price. They were so careing they treated me like a friend instead of like a customer. They even sent someone to my home to help me get to work one day. The car came out beautiful!!!! I would never take my car anywhere else for repair and have found a facility for life. I would like to thank Kaleen and Ravi for helping me so much. I will be back and will send friends and family. more

I took my car to this place for some mechanical work and to have one of the bumpers fixed and repainted. While the mechanical work was done right (very easy things, I would have done them by myself if I had a garage) painting the bumper took them three more days than agreed. Finally when I went to pick the car up after they called me to let me know that it was ready I found out that the car, which was parked outside and ""ready"" to go, (a) didn't have the plates installed, (b) was terribly dirty, inside and outside, (c) had an area of the grille repaired but not painted, (d) and the color didn't match. They then came with a bucket of paint and painted the section on the grille in front of me... with a brush!!!! Then I realized why the color didn't match, they used a single layer of paint, the same in the bucket, even when I had discussed with the manager that a three coat paint was necessary and he had agreed. more

If you have an accident and they tow it to this place, beware if you want to have it moved. They are friendly people, but they are back stabbers if you dont give them the work. I wanted my car moved to another body shop for personal reasons and they tried to convince me to have them do the work. So, once I signed a release form to have my vehicle moved, they charged $859 of fees which should have only been $327 in tow and storage fees. It was a hassel to get my vehicle out of there shop. They say that they value the people. Just imagine if I did give them the job, what other stuff they would make up. more
