Gaia took the place of Dome on the avenue and the food and ambiance are a huge improvement. The best dishes are the ones cooked sous vide, in these vacuum-packed jars, like the foie gras appetizer, the duck confit and the absolutely amazing fleur de sel-caramel cheesecake. It's not cheap, but it's a good value, considering most of the restaurants in Greenwich are more expensive than those in the city. Best place to sit: upstairs near the fireplace.
